October 2026. The subsidiary of Echeverría Izquierdo S.A. will be responsible for major transportation, shopping center, residential, and multifamily projects, strengthening its strategic position and securing a backlog of CLP 212 billion.
In a significant milestone for growth and consolidation within the construction sector, Echeverría Izquierdo S.A.’s construction subsidiary announced that it has been awarded six major new projects representing a total investment of approximately 4.5 million Unidades de Fomento (UF), Chile’s inflation-indexed unit of account.
The new portfolio comprises six projects spanning the residential, commercial, office, and infrastructure sectors. These include Edificio Luz (Golf Bicentenario), a mixed-use development by FFV featuring apartments, offices, and ground-floor retail space, with a total built area of 42,000 m²; the San Pascual project, also developed by FFV, encompassing 40,000 m² and including 299 multifamily residential units, offices, and retail space; and the La Pastora and San Sebastián office developments by Claudio Fischer, which together account for approximately 26,000 m².
Additional projects include a residential tower with retail premises in Vitacura, developed by Indesa; the dining and entertainment boulevard at Mall Plaza El Trébol in Concepción, covering 12,000 m² and including a water storage tank; and restoration works on Section 1 of Metro Line 7, involving access shafts, galleries, and tunnels associated with the Brasil, José Miguel Infante, and Salvador Gutiérrez stations.
“The addition of these projects reflects the market’s confidence in the company’s technical expertise and management capabilities. The diversity of the projects, spanning commercial, residential, corporate, and public infrastructure sectors, allows us to diversify risk and ensure a steady flow of operations over the coming years,” said Lorena Rodriguez, Business and Sustainability Manager at Echeverría Izquierdo Edificaciones.
Construction has already begun on some of the projects, while others are scheduled to commence within the coming months. According to Rodriguez, this development carries particular significance, as it “not only validates our operational excellence and the trust that the country’s leading developers place in us, but also provides us with optimal financial visibility for the coming quarters,” she stated.
The newly awarded contracts provide the construction subsidiary with clear financial visibility for the coming years, supported by a structured revenue schedule extending through 2028. The company highlights that the subsidiary’s backlog stands at CLP 212 billion, ensuring a strong financial outlook, with contracted sales of CLP 117 billion for 2027 and CLP 60 billion for 2028.
